Lola Goes to... Everyday People Brunch

 The last Everyday People Brunch of the year was held at Delancey & Ludlow down in LES this past Sunday. The brunch turned party was a mash up of great music, amazing food and eccentric people. Curated by Saada Ahmed and catered by Chef Roblé, just imagine the guest list and menu!

Nylon & Joe Fresh Host #BonjourBlack

Tonight, I accompanied my good friend, Joel Moore of Moorehisstyle.com, to the Nylon & Joe Fresh Event #BonjourBlack. The party was hosted in Joe Fresh's Flatiron location on 5th Ave. DJ Jasmine Solane continued to play tunes that sparked "Ahhh, I love this song" moments; Bartenders pushed on delicious drinks and the shopping seemed to never end.

To kick off NYFW, we were able to check out Joe Fresh's new F/W line. Although the event was focused around black & white, Joe Fresh did not forget about all the color-crazed customers.

The Botanical Garden in Brooklyn!

Before summer was over and I started my hectic school semester,  I had to pay a visit to the beautiful Botanical Garden in Brooklyn, NY.  I wore a simple chartreuse, knit, sweater and my floral print, high-waist skirt to play along with all the greenery and flowers. I paired it with my Madden Girl lace up heels and a black clutch from H&M.

Lola Goes To... Jinxed in Philly!

While waiting for the doors to open for the Odd Future concert in Philly, I started roaming around South St. I found tattoo parlors, restaurants and cool shops; however, the one that stood out was a small antique shop called "Jinxed."

From the outside looking in, it appears to be a regular thrift shop filled with random knick-knacks and broken grandma's-house collectibles. It is not until you step inside, that you realize all the cool finds at great prices. 

I was surprised at the amount of vintage jewelry and accessories they carry. I purchased a necklace and my first piece of artwork for my new apartment.

Flatbush Zombie & Underachievers Concert!

This summer has been filled with epic concerts and events. On June 6th I attended the Flatbush Zombies & Underachievers concert in Brooklyn's Red Hook Park. This concert was part of the Summer Stage series which is a host of different free concerts around NYC.

 I got some pretty cool pictures considering I didn't have a press pass. Have a look for yourself!

Bodega Bamz was also in attendance and did a short performance with Flatbush Zombies.

I ran into Dyme-A-Duzin while at the concert. He is also a rapper a part of the Beastcoast movement. I was able to do a short interview with him during the show.

He recently got back from a tour overseas in Europe.I asked how it went and what the audience was like over there.

  "The tour was great. They showed a lot of love over there.I definitely want to go back!"

Members of the A$AP mob also performed songs they had with Flatbush Zombies!
